What's New
July 17, 2004~
In the past few months, I have begun writing fan fiction based on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer virtual
spin-off series,
Watchers.  You can find the fan fiction on Watchers Fanfiction.

I recently moved the entire site over to yahoo site builder format, so a lot of the links are messed up at
the moment.  I am working a little bit every day to get all of the links on the site fixed.  One good thing
about site builder is that the pages are a bit longer, so if any of you have been seeing text overlapping
the buttons at the bottom of the pages, hopefully that problem will be resolved.

Don't you just love when your day is going just fine, when all of the sudden you have a bout of feeling just plain
sucky?  Thing about this one is that I had my word processor at hand and wound up just putting it on paper...or
at least on screen.
How Can Love? in the poetry section is the result.  Whatever happened to just eating some
chocolate ice cream at these times? ;-)

Posted Creating Critical Mass in Popular Consciousness in the Prose section.

Wow, it's been 11 months since the last time I updated the site.  In other words, class is out for the summer,
and I'm free for a little while.  On a happy note, I only have two required classes to take before I get my BA, so
the next year will mostly be filled with fun classes like Old English and Greek and Roman Studies.  Yes, some
people consider Old English a
fun class.

I'm finally adding another section to my site.  It's the
Prose link on the main page.  This is the area where you
can find writing that is not poetry or stories, such as writing I have done for classes.  I debated for a long time
whether or not I wanted to put class assignments up on my site, for fear that some students might plagerize the
work.  However, I have been assured that professors have access to word search programs provided by the
universities, so DON'T turn in my writing as your own!!!  Bibliographies are included at the ends of papers
where they were required.

Fixed some invalid email addresses throughout the site.

I have archived the What's New for
November/December 2001.

It's been a long time, I know.  That's what happens when I actually have to read the textbooks for my classes.  I
can say that now because I have my grades from the professors who visit my site. ;-)  If you haven't visited my
main page in a while, please do so.  A few weeks ago, I added the picture of a little girl in the Netherlands, Laura
Vonken, who died of cancer at age three.  Click on her picture to go visit her site (the love of her parents needs
no translation) and check out the "Fotos" section to see this lovely little girl.   Before you leave, please sign her
condolence book.  Her parents appreciate every entry.

I Archived the What's New for
October 2001.

I've also added a poem that I wrote back in my senior year high school English class.  We had to draw a picture
of our dream house, and write something about it.
Standing on a Cliff is what came of that assignment.  I just
wish I still had the picture of the house I drew.  Also, thank you Rêveur for helping me choose which shot of
Point Lobos, CA to include with the poem
.

Happy birthday to me!  Happy birthday to me!  Yup today I'm old enough to know better....but sometimes I say,
"Heck, it's too much fun, I'm doin' it anyway!
" =D

Yes, it's been a long time since I last updated the site.  School is on, and I've been reading novels like a
madwoman!  This is also Olympics time, so as happens once every 2 years, I go out and turn on the tv for
sporting events!  Sadly, Kevin Smith (Ares on Xena: Warrior Princess) has passed away from a fall off of a
castle wall movie set.  I'll be creating a collage as soon as I find the picture I want to use.

In the meantime, my dear Rêveur has inspired a wonderful poem within me.
The Soul's Web has been added to
the
Poetry page.

Happy New Year everyone!  One of my friends was nice enough to share her cold with me at her graduation
party (I thought we were supposed to give *her* the gifts), so I had about 20 hours of health in the new year
before I started feeling like something that came out of the back end of a horse.

Another friend of mine, Ssim, let me know that some of my story pages have the text overlapping the forward
buttons.  Ok, actually she frantically IMed me asking how to get to the rest of my stories because she NEEDED
to finish them. =)  So, as a stop-gap measure until I learn HTML, I have added links going to each page of a
multi-page story or poem.  They are located on the story listings pages.
