I took French classes in high school and college (quite a few years ago) and still remember some of it.  I know
the French isn't perfect, and I apologise to any francophones who may cringe at some of the mistakes.  I tried
my best with the rules I remembered as well as the attempt to rhyme.

This poem came about as a response to one that an acquaintance of mine, KT, wrote one day.

Un Rêve

Est-ce que cet un rêve?
je vois tu m'approches
avec désir dans tes yeux
pour moi seulement.
le parfum de tes cheveux
et ta peau, il m'entoure,
il m'entre,
et fait ma tête tourner.
tes chuchotements fiévreux
caressent m'orielle
comme les ailes d'une oiseaux.
tes mots passionnés
font mes genoues faibles.
et tes mains sur mon corps,
comme la bénédiction d'une déesse,
elles me font trembler.
je se rends à toi...
je veux de toi,
ta passion, ton toucher,
et ton amour.
j'ai besoin de tout de toi,
vêts-moi dans tes baisers,
prétends à moi...
fais-moi le vôtre.

A Dream

Is this a dream?
I see you come to me
with desire in your eyes
for me alone.
the scent of your hair
and your skin surrounds me,
enters me,
and makes my head spin.
your feverish whispers
caress my ear
like the wings of a bird.
your passionate words
make my knees weak.
and your hands on my body,
like the blessing of a goddess,
make me tremble.
I surrender to you...
I want you,
your passion, your touch
and your love.
I need all of you,
clothe me in your kisses,
lay claim to me...
make me yours.
